Blizzards could be in the forecast for Georgetown, where initial plans for a Dairy Queen have been submitted.

The southeast corner of Georgetown Plaza, at Route 113 and East Trap Pond Road, is the proposed site of the fast food restaurant, which serves burgers, fries and a variety of soft-serve concoctions.

Tsionas Management owns the property, according to Town Manager Eugene Dvornick. The Newark-based agency is still in talks with the town planning office.

A finalized plan for the proposed 2,300-square-foot restaurant will have to be submitted to and approved by the town planning commission before any construction can begin.
